Event Details and Outputs

We are organising a series of events in the Village Hall with plenty of opportunity to hear from Energy and Nature experts and ask all your questions.

Upcoming Events (6.30 to 7.30pm; in the Village Hall):

This Winter the topics will focus on Nature and Recycling:

    • October 31st on household recycling with the UDC team
    • February 27th with a speaker from Climate Change Gardening
    • March and April being arranged.

Our Recycling & Waste Journey (Ben Brown, UDC Director of Climate and Environment, Lynne Smith – Recycling in Hadstock). Friday 31st October  (Village Hall: 6:30 – 7:30pm)

Join us for an informative evening to learn more about the waste journey in the district, ambitious recycling targets in Essex, and what happens now none of Uttlesford’s waste goes to landfill. Ben will guide us through what happens to our waste once it is collected, tell us where Uttlesford stands in the recycling charts, and discuss how we can improve our recycling rates. Lynne will cover what is also available in Hadstock

Do come and ask the experts, have a drink and a chat with your neighbours!
