Refuse and Recycling

Garden waste recycling

A garden waste recycling service is provided by Uttlesford District Council but paid for by the Parish Council. This is every other Saturday morning (please ask in the Village for current timings).

Household refuse collections – brown, green and black wheelie bins

Uttlesford District Council’s refuse collection service in Hadstock takes place on a Wednesday (except after a Bank Holiday when it is collected on a Thursday). Uttlesford District Council has special arrangements for collection of bulky waste.

Wheelie bin collection alternates on a fortnightly basis. On week one, the brown topped bin (wet waste) and the green topped bin (recycling) are collected. On week two, the brown topped bin (wet waste) and the black topped bin (non recycling) are collected.

A household garden waste recycling wheelie bin service can also be purchased.
